Children under age 18 who are not emancipated must have parental or legal guardian consent for any vaccine. A parent or legal guardian generally should accompany the minor to receive the vaccine, unless the administration of the vaccine occurs in a physician’s office, school-based or school-associated clinic setting or similar setting.

Pharmacy Walk-In

Thanks to increased vaccine supply, Ohioans ages 5 and older can now get vaccinated without an appointment at Walgreens, CVS, Kroger, Rite Aid, Discount Drug Mart or neighborhood pharmacies during regular business hours.

Free Rides to Get Vaccinated

Medicaid and MyCare members can call their health plan two days in advance to schedule free round-trip transportation to get their COVID-19 vaccination. Click on your managed care plan’s logo below for more information.

According to the CDC, people who have been fully vaccinated can do things that they had stopped doing because of the pandemic. To reduce the risk of being infected with the Delta variant and possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission.
